RON ALLAN is a well-known and highly-respected voice actor and coach throughout the Midwest and the V/O career field.  With over 30 years of experience as a professional voice talent, audio producer, broadcast copywriter, on-camera talent, voice caster, and voice-over coach, Ron has a LOT to offer! 

 He started his broadcasting career after attending & graduating from Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts, Detroit, Michigan in 1985.

Working as a radio show host and production director in first,  small radio markets then large capital city markets like Lansing, Mich., Charleston, WV, and Columbus, Ohio, Ron developed his creative copywriting, voice-over, and audio post-production skills then gravitated into modeling, on-camera acting, and eventually TV Voice Over...all of which he still does today along with Voice Over/Coaching…because he believes in giving back! Ron has coached over 600 aspiring professional voice talent over the past 23 years becoming widely known as one of the preeminent VO coaches in the U.S. and is endorsed by Harlan Hogan and our many students!   He's also the co-founder of the Midwest Voice Over Conference, Columbus, Ohio, and founder of Voice Over Pros of Central Ohio, a monthly VO Meetup group, now with over 600 members! 


Ron continues to record radio, TV, and industrial voiceover work daily with worldwide clients and has also been hired for on-camera television commercial roles, and one major motion picture, Traffic, with Michael Douglas.

Ron is a "working V/O talent/Coach" but has a heart for helping prepare others for a career in VO so spends about half his time coaching. Ron works with producers across the United States, Peru, and Korea.  His client list includes GotRadio.com, FOX TV-WVAH, Reising Radio Partners in Columbus, IN;  CMR Electric, Onkyo, ICAN-TV, Hot Shot Secret, Genesis Communications Network, Goodwill Stores, Grout Genie, and over 30 Audio Books.

Big Voice Productions also maintains a talent pool to draw from with a wide range of male and female talent.
